Our new book selection for week two is small. Some weeks we will start LOTS of new books, and other weeks we will only start a few new books. Week two of the term is a week to start only a few new books...
We finished the book about the Murray-Darling River System so I decided Capital City Rivers was the next logical book in the series. It will be fun to learn about the important rivers of our capital cities.
I added two additional books to Monkey's Ancient Rome selection. Both of these books will give a good overview of a lot of different aspects of Ancient Rome life. The book on the right hand side is a junior non-fiction book whilst the book on the left is an adult non-fiction book. This allows good introduction (junior non-fiction) and a chance to go much deeper (adult non-fiction).
