Term Three: Week Eight ~ Spring Has Sprung

Spring has arrived, and along with the succulent at our church, all the flowers and trees are blooming everywhere.

Some of the beautiful flowers blooming in our church garden.

The read alouds we finished this week. Top two photos are Munchkin's, bottom two are Monkey's

The angel fish continue to grow and thrive in the six foot fish tank.

Photo update of my charity knitting as a friend asked how many squares and hats I've made so far.

No day is complete for me without some personal independent reading time.

Lots of flowers are blooming in the gardens at our house as well.

Munchkin enjoyed the floor display encouraging library patrons to give detective/mystery books a try.

Food and fun at the park on Thursday.

An impromptu game of pick-up soccer enjoyed by most of the kids regardless of their age.
For those who are wondering, the age range of this group is 5 years old to 17 years old.

One family brought their dog to share in the fun. Lots of yummy food - sausages and chicken on a stick!!

Group photo of the four mums - one was heading off for three weeks and we are going to miss her so we had a BBQ lunch get together to hang out and have fun.

Proof you can eat AND play soccer at the same time... He is holding a banana and running for the ball.

Some group shots of the mingling and the soccer game.

A few of the girls practiced their cartwheels as well.

After lunch at the park it was off to the library for board games and books.

My collection of walks for the week.
