School Holidays: Week One ~ Games, Craft, Gardens, Aussie Animals and Books

The HUGE photo montage of our first week of our October (spring break) holidays. Not a lot of explanation is needed so I'll keep it to a minimum. We hung out at home, relaxed, read books, did some craft, played LOTS of games, and enjoyed an AMAZING Aussie Animal event at our local library!!

The beautiful Blue Tongue Lizard that lives a couple of blocks away from the library. We walk past its burrow every time we visit the library so we always stop if we see it sunning itself.

We REALLY enjoyed the Aussie Animals event at the library. First we met this pair of Ring-Tailed possums...

Then we got to look at this cute little Green Tree Frog...

Next was the Tawny Frog Mouth...

Which Monkey got the chance to feed meal worms to.

I love it when I can get a photo of a Blue Tongue Lizard sticking out its tongue...

Then we got to meet this beautiful Flying Fox...

This 2yr old Salt Water Crocodile was so cute...

Munchkin got the chance to touch and feel the difference between the skin on its back and the skin on its tummy...

Lucky last was the Carpet Python...

We worked on life skills again as the boys had to prepare their own breakfast and lunch.
