Just to do things a little bit differently, the first book highlighted in my selection of books for the next week, is an independent read for myself, rather than a read aloud selection for the boys. This book comes HIGHLY recommended to me by a dear friend and so I thought it was high time to read it. I had to wait for awhile as it was on reserve at the library, but finally it arrived and I'm diving right in. I think I will learn some excellent things from this book.
Between Nana's visit and the fact that we are getting towards the end of the term, our read aloud selection is shrinking a bit. So only one new book to add to the list for the coming week.
