Cooking, Drawing and Writing

This post seems a bit disjointed and random to me but it comes at the beginning of a very long period of near constant illness for our family.  So it is what it is...

Both the boys enjoy helping me in the kitchen.  Today we made some savoury muffins to serve as afternoon tea when a friend came over for a visit.  Monster chose to help while Monkey observed. 

Monkey is VERY interested in drawing and "writing" - so the rest of the photos are examples of his work.  Yes he was very sick when he drew most of these as you will see in his face and eyes!  He drew lots of ants, bees, and slugs...
