Week Two of the term and we got down to some serious work.
Early morning school work for Munchkin... he worked on his math assignments on the playroom floor before our morning read aloud session.
He continues to enjoy using the Blender program to learn more about animation.
Monkey was super excited to see his bestie on Thursday BEFORE we headed to the library. We did something a bit different and they came over for a visit and to pick us up for the library, rather than meeting us at the library, driving us home, and then having a super short visit before heading home for dinner. Monkey enjoyed the extra time he was able to spend with his buddy.
Hard at work on a Lunar New Year craft for After School Activities at the library. There was only one other little boy there this week. It will be interesting to see when other children start coming as it usually takes a few weeks.
Early Friday morning multi tasking... reading a book, taking a math test, and eating breakfast.
A picnic lunch with homeschool friends who weren't going to be able to come to the park meet up because they had swimming lessons.

Friday was our first homeschool group meet up that we were able to attend and it was great to see some of our friends again. I could have taken many more photos than I did, but was enjoying catching up with the mums I hadn't seen for awhile and also meeting a few new people.
In the meantime, the boys enjoyed time with their friends and I got this great action series of Monkey helping his bestie on the Flying Fox.
Once they were finished it was back to start again...
We did a LOT of reading this week and finished a bunch of books. We'll look forward to starting a whole bunch of new books in the week to come including a new literature selection for Munchkin.
On Saturday we had a family picnic lunch at the park with family to celebrate Monster's birthday a few days early. After our delicious lunch we came home for cake and a nice visit together.
This was my total walk for Friday... two walks to the shopping centre and then walking to a park and back for homeschool group.
